11:00am - 11:40am
AND
2:00pm - 2:45pm

The Great Shakespearean Workout brings together aerobics, kung fu and tai chi in an interactive and fun fitness session.

This interactive fitness session explores the language and characters of Troilus and Cressida, Shakespeare's only play inspired by the heroic myths of Ancient Greece, birthplace of the Olympic Games.
People are invited to take part in an epic battle between the Trojans and the Greeks, as 1623 Theatre Company gets everyone moving to the Shakespeare beat!

This activity will take place on an outdoor stage in Skipton High Street. It is part of Craven District Council and Skipton Town Council's Festival of Sport and Culture on Skipton High Street between 10am and 3pm, ahead of the Olympic Torch Relay travelling through Skipton.
